I thought that living in the moment and being present meant taking life as it comes and doing our best not to get our feathers ruffled by anything; to effectively be a yogi, perfectly attuned to peace no matter the chaos.
I don't want to give you some motivational speech about how if I can keep going, you don't have any excuses, or if I can do it, so can you. NO! That's NOT what I want to say! I want to say I'm right here with you. What you are going through is hard.

Playing hard is the name of the game. There is nothing like getting off the beaten path with friends and go on an adventure! Here’s the thing though, not all trails are created equally. The beautiful thing about the ORA (Outdoor Recreation Alliance) is that they are dedicated to working with the community to make their trails accessible and inclusive for all ages and abilities.
What are you unable to accept in your life right now? How does that feel in your body? These were some of the questions asked of me when I was going through one of the hardest times in my life. It was also the beginning of tremendous healing.
What stood out to me wasn’t how important beauty is to women, but how pervasive the feelings and fear surrounding our thoughts on being UGLY.
