The Journey of Acceptance
What are you unable to accept in your life right now? How does that feel in your body? These were some of the questions asked of me when I was going through one of the hardest times in my life. It was also the beginning of tremendous healing.
As part of an online service with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, I shared my journey of acceptance with the hope that anyone going through a similar situation would know, first and foremost, they are not alone. I am here with you. I am listening. Secondly, if you have a lot of turmoil in your life this may give you some ideas of how to sit with the hard stuff and find some self-compassion.
If you are really struggling to feel hopeful and need help, please don't hesitate to call the kind people at this hotline: 800-273-8255. People are there to listen and support you 24/7.
I am so grateful to my friends and family that were by my side and helped me heal my life! And to my sisters... I thank you with my WHOLE being.
